On Monday, June 3, 2024, the Electricity Distribution and Supply Authority (EDSA) announced a scheduled power outage affecting residents of Koidu Township and surrounding areas. This temporary outage is essential for the installation of new meters at all secondary substations, a crucial step in EDSA’s ongoing efforts to improve service delivery.

The installation of these meters will enable EDSA to accurately measure electricity consumption at each substation, ultimately enhancing the efficiency of electricity distribution throughout Koidu Township. This upgrade is part of EDSA’s commitment to providing reliable and effective electricity services to the community.

The installation process is planned for two days, from June 10 to June 11, 2024, with work being conducted each day between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. During this time, residents may experience temporary interruptions to their power supply.

EDSA sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience this necessary maintenance may cause to our valued customers. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated as we strive to enhance the quality of our services and ensure a more reliable electricity supply for all.
